Tag Team... Jail,Orphanage, and small groups

God brought an amazing opportunity to minister in the local jail through one of the men in Larry's church! Marco has a real heart for the men there and ask if some of the team would like to accompany him! Laura, Brien, Helbert, Shinead, Kechia and Mayra jumped at the chance!! And so they started they day by raiding Larry's closet for black pants because blue, beige, red, or white were not allowed and heading out with Marco to give testimonies and minister to the inmates in the jail! They all came back so excited by their time spent there!! They were not allowed to bring any cameras so this is the only picture we have to share...

The rest of us headed for another very busy day of work!!! We only have today and tomorrow to finish as much as we can so the preassure is on!

Here Marbi is helping a little guy with his homework! He was giving it the best he could but needed a little push in the right direction.
Larry and Wes having a serious chat about  how to proceed! They make a great team!!
The shower "house" is getting closer by the minute...walls are up....part of the roof...
Nathaniel screwing down the roof!
The roof is on and the walls on the outside are complete!!! Yeehaa!!!!
Mark and Larry work at putting up the plywood for the interior walls! Tomorrow we hope to paint them the same lovely aqua blue as the rest of the walls!
Mark and Caleb finish putting up the shower pipes!
Mayra brought a game of Connect Four. It has been the hugest hit! Today Martin saw it sitting on the dash of Larry's truck and pointed it out to Eduardo who immediately asked if they could play it! We plan to leave it behind when we leave! By the way, Martin, who has some developemental challenges won this game much to his excitement!
The boys were being disciplined today for some reason and not allowed to go to the park, so we played games and did our program right at the orphanage. No one seemed to mind and had a great time anyway!
Because Mayra was at the jail ministering there, Marbi became my right hand! Cheryl and Jacob had things well in hand back at the house so she felt free to come and help us!

Caleb continues his English lessons with Chino in earnest! Gabi was there to help with translation!
Two little cuties hanging around the orphanage!
Showers complete!!!!! Tomorrow we hope to hook up the water!

The aqua paint only comes off with turpentine! Ugh!!
Shae-lynn and Chloe tackle the big task of cleaning all the brushes, rollers and trays from painting upstairs! Still not quite done...hopefully tomorrow!
Sweet little Coby struggles with epilepsy.  Please pray for him as the Lord leads.
This evening we went to the various small groups in Larry's church to participate with them.

They run VERY late.  Other members of the team are still out.  Please pray for energy for tomorrow.

Good night.
